365 Day Photo Challenge

I've decided that during 2010, I would take on the 365 Day Photo Challenge. In case you can't figure it out from the name, the idea is you take at least one photo every day for a year. I'll try and use my blog as my catalog of pictures. Here's what I've got so far:

Jan. 1: part of a float in the sun at the Rose Parade

 

Jan. 2: Sleepy Charlie

 

Jan. 3: I forgot to take a picture. This is the best I got at the last minute before I went to bed...

 

Jan. 4: I realized I don't have a good picture of our first Christmas tree. Enough said.

 

Basset Hound House Rules

If anyone's wondering what it's like to own a basset hound, this pretty much sums it up.

BASSET HOUND HOUSE RULES

1. The Basset is not allowed in the house.
2. Okay, the Basset is allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms.
3. The Basset is allowed in all rooms, but has to stay off the furniture.
4. The Basset can get on the old furniture only, but has to stay off the new couch.
5. The Basset can get on all the furniture, but is not allowed to sleep with the humans on the bed.
6. Okay, the Basset is allowed on the bed, but only by invitation.
7. The Basset can sleep on the bed whenever he wants, but not under the covers.
8. The Basset can sleep under the covers by invitation only.
9. The Basset can sleep under the covers every night.
10. Humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the Basset.
